Located just off Mombasa Road, Ole Sereni border the Nairobi National Park. The name of the hotel is taken from the Maasai language meaning "place of tranquility." The hotel's veranda and pool areas as well as many of the rooms offer idyllic views over the national park, often hosting towering giraffes or grazing zebras. One can forget they are so close to the city as they stare at the vast landscape.
Our Expert Says
Ole Sereni is the most convenient hotel in proximity to the Nairobi Airport. It's perfect for day rooms before flying out on a later flight, or for an overnight if you arrive late or depart early. While the hotels in the suburb of Karen are great for getting out and doing activities, Ole Sereni is nice if you are not planning to do any local activities or if your have only a short time in Nairobi.
