Photo-Safaris
With the advent of digital camera technology, more and more world travelers are developing an interest in travel and nature photography. There is no better place for such a hobby than Africa! From close-up animal shots to sweeping savannah vistas, Africa provides photography enthusiasts with nearly endless opportunities for capturing spectacular images. There are two ways that a photographer can participate in a photography specific safari: Custom Photo Safaris and Guided Photo Safaris. On Custom Photo Safaris travelers select a country and a route and then pick and choose their camps via iSafari.com's Safari Planning Tool section. Then, for those who are particular keen to wake early and have more room in their safari truck, they can request private safari vehicles at an additional cost. On a Guided Photo Safari a Natural Habitat Adventures Photo Expedition Leader guides small groups of guests on pre-scheduled adventures, waking early and returning late to capture the best light. These safaris tend to have slightly smaller groups and fewer travelers per vehicle than regular Scheduled Safaris. Scheduled Photo Safaris can be found on Natural Habitat Adventures' Photo Tours Website.
