Arriving at dusk, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and warm hospitality. After settling into our cottage - sitting atop high ground looking over the channel in front - we were greeted by grazing hippos that had come to snack on the grass. I almost bumped into one as we walked back to the main building for dinner! The food was good, the setting superb and cruising the channel (with hippos where they belong) was fantastic. A great spot to visit in the heart of this national park.
