This lodge was simple and cozy and the service was warm and genuine - perfect for our quest to find chimps and other primates. The food wasn't fantastic, but tasty and filling - we weren't on a culinary tour, so we were happy. It was our guide camp guide, Godwin, that made it so special. He not only easily spotted elusive primates in the high canopy, but was also adept at identifying any bird and mimicking its call. His knowledge and passion were infectious! The most basic of the camps I visited in Uganda, but one of the most memorable!
