Coming out of the Serengeti I would have liked more of a 'camp' vs the large lodge feel of the Serena but the accommodations were nice, the food was great and the views into the Crater were amazing. Access into the Crater was easy and convenient. We did a walk one afternoon along the Crater Rim, past Masai villages and it was great.
