Review For Shumba Camp

This camp is situated on an "island" of enormous fig trees and was by far the nicest camp my wife and I stayed at while exploring Kafue National Park. We overnighted three nights and it was perfect. The camp's design is excellent - with open views of the Busanga Plains. Our guide Petrous, made the most of every game drive and the sundowner spread he put out every evening was impressive! The wildlife viewing was extremely special. Camp hosts Lesa & Dean and the whole were staff made sure our stay was extra special. The food was top notch and tents very luxurious. Shumba is built in a seasonal floodplain, so it is not open year round, which makes getting there and staying here - extra special. I would go back in heartbeat - it was by far my favorite camp in Zambia!
