Review For Camp Kalahari | Edit
We enjoyed our stay in Camp Kalahari, exploring the wilderness around the Makgadikgadi Pans. We arrived after a particularly rainy wet season, and the plains were lush and full of thousands of migrating zebras and wildebeests - fascinating! We delighted in visiting the nearby meerkat colony, the San Village, and the remains of the Chapman baobab tree. Our guide, Dabe, was wonderful - sharing his passion for nature and the culture of the region. Staying in this area of the Kalahari provided the perfect start to our safari, and an interesting contrast to the flooding Okavango Delta.
