I was really impressed with Marataba. It doesn't have the reputation or recognition that Kruger National Park or the Serengeti has, but it's truly magnificent! And there is NO ONE else there! The landscape was beautiful. I woke up each day to a mountain view. Our guide was Michele, who was from the UK, and really impressive with her knowledge and passionate about wildlife. Our hosts were Yolandi and Gawi, also incredibly gracious. All the rest of the staff came to know us as well, and everyone was great. We saw elephants, rhinos, lions, hyena, zebra, giraffe, and so many other animals I can't name! The accommodations and game viewing were top notch. Highly recommended.
