I planned a stay at Loisaba because of the star beds and really enjoyed the evening sleeping under the stars. The staff sang and danced with us and for once that experience didn't feel hokey, it felt more like we were joining a group of friends who would have been doing this and enjoying themselves just as much even if we weren't there. The walking here is great and we also did some easy white water kayaking as well as horseback riding. The lodge itself could use a bit of a spruce up, but the service was great. I had left my shoes outside of my room as they were a bit muddy, I took a quick shower and went back to retrieve my boots to clean them up but someone beat me to that, they had already been cleaned and returned. The scenery at the lodge is superb; each room has an amazing view.
