Review For Ngorongoro Crater Lodge

The lodge rooms themselves were very pretty. You really have no views of the crater, just the rim. I felt it to be too large, lacks the intimacy of real camps. Dining was indoors, just didn't feel like we were on safari.

Thanks for your review! The best views from the Crater Lodge are from North Camp, as Tree Camp is lower on the edge of the rim within the tree line, blocking much of the view into the crater. Tree Camp is also the most intimate at 6 suites, but within each of the three camps, there is not more 12 suites using one central dining and lounge area. It is far more opulent and comprises solid structures, so a different experience to a tented camp, but perfect for anyone looking for something more high end.
