Northern Kenya is my favorite part of the country, and I've been several times. The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is my top place here, with black and white rhino and unique types of giraffe and zebra. Lewa is stunning with rolling hills and local Masai communities. Take a scenic flight in an open-cockpit plane or ride horses. Other areas of Laikipia are also very special. There are other rhino sanctuaries and cool animals like Grevy's zebra, which are distinct from the zebra you'll see everywhere else on safari. You'll also see gerenuk, antelopes that have really long necks and ears as big as their heads!
