This was a convenient place to stay, but it was not a real safari place. To be fair, the views are fantastic and the hotel does not pretend to be an authentic nature focused accommodation. There was a great walk-hike out the back to the border of the crater rim and the Serengeti plains. But, still, if I go back here I'll choose a camp or one of the coffee plantations nearby--I really don't go to Africa to stay at a huge impersonal hotel.
