Ol Donyo was a great experience. The lodge itself is beautiful. We slept out on our roof one night under the stars! We had a great little private pool and our room looked out towards Mount Kilimanjaro, which we could see only in the evening when the haze lifted, but it was spectacular! The animals are not really dense in this area, but we saw elephants at the waterhole, plenty of giraffe, lions and some others. My husband particularly enjoyed mountain biking, and I road horses. It was just an all round fabulous time.
