My stay at the The Nadali Lodge was outstanding. It’s a super eco-lodge the runs without power. Hot water is boiled with fire and piped into the bathroom for great showers or baths. The restaurant and lounge are candle lit. There is a battery charging station for topping up cameras and other gadgets. All of the food was excellent and so was the whole atmosphere. The lodge owners are also wonderful hosts and make you feel like friends of the family. If the sky is clear, they have a telescope for stargazing. The only downside to the Nadali Lodge is that the road(s) to and from the Kibale Forest are bumpy and long. Travelers will feel more exhausted from driving than from the forest hiking. Overall, this was my ideal type of lodge
