I never knew a barren desert could come so alive! But that is exactly what happened at Kulala Desert Lodge. The staff was great, the food superb and the views of the nearby, red-colored dunes spectacular. A curious jackal that payed us daily visits was one of the highlights. Another was the hot-air balloon ride, high above desert floor, which gave us a true idea of just how expansive this beautiful region really is. Make sure this is part of your Namibian safari!
