Review For Ol Donyo Lodge
Pretty kick-a** place to start our Safari.
Very luxurious rooms - ours opened up with an expansive view of the valley below where we would watch a constant stream of wildlife while stilling in our cushioned lounge chairs. We had a gourmet dinner served on our veranda which was an incredible experience seeing the light fade, stars come out, and hearing the sounds of the Africa. We didn't opt for the star beds on the upper roof, but it looked like it would be worth a try. Huge common area with incredible large wildlife pictures taken by the Jouberts.
Wildlife isn't the only reason to come here, we also really enjoyed the hiking, horseback riding and biking activities. A bonus on the hike was walking through a herd of goats and talking with the local herder. It was also pretty wild to be on horseback and bike pedaling past a herd of giraffes.
