Open, spacious and replete with traditional ambience, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge offers a unique experience of the magic of Africa. Its many windows look out to spectacular views of the national park. A variety of large, comfortable rooms is available, with balconies perfect for enjoying incomparable African sunsets. Rooms are lavishly decorated with African fabrics in warm colors and feature luxurious en suite bathrooms. An award-winning restaurant is the lodge’s central hub, with views over the waterhole that will definitely distract you from dinner: look for buffalo, elephant, kudu, impala and baboons that show up frequently, plus a myriad of birds. Monkeys, mongoose and warthog are commonly seen wandering about the grounds. Telescopes and a hide are available for enhanced wildlife observation. The bar, too, has its own game-viewing platform overlooking the waterhole. Guests may also dine at the famous Boma restaurant, offering an al fresco immersion in the tastes, sights, sounds and aromas of Africa.

Victoria Falls offers direct access to Zimbabwe and Botswana’s most wildlife-rich game reserves and national parks, from Hwange and Mana Pools National Parks in Zimbabwe to the Okavango Delta, Linyanti Reserve and Kalahari Desert of Botswana. It also serves to break up a safari with both natural and cultural attractions.
