Thamo Telele's well-designed and tastefully furnished Meru-style safari tents with en suite facilities are thoughtfully placed for privacy beneath a canopy of large shade trees. Crisp cotton linen, cozy beds and overhead fans assure restful sleep after your adventures. Bathe by candlelight and enjoy the sounds of Africa, or enjoy an outdoor shower while taking in the beauty of the Kalahari skies. Larger villas are available for honeymooners or families. The thatched guest area is the heart of Thamo Telele. Doors open onto a wide-angle teak deck shaded by motsentsela trees, under which guests exchange stories, meals and drinks. Inside, relax on a plush sofa, enjoy a drink from the bar, and page through exploration books. World-class cuisine is served by candlelight on the deck overlooking a lush garden with private pool and serene views of wildlife in the nearby flood plains. Full day safari adventures provide wonderful photo opportunities at close range as you search for predators, pachyderms and plains game. Experience the thrill of the Okavango Delta from above in either a fixed wing airplane or helicopter. Any of these means provide opportunities to witness giraffe, zebra, springbok, ostrich, eland, gemsbok, kudu and an extensive variety of the over 300 species of bird life in the neighboring Moremi Game Reserve.

Proceeds from Thamo Telele are invested back into the community of Maun through the nonprofit work of Love Botswana Outreach Mission. The mission is committed to reducing the spread of HIV/AIDS in Botswana, educating young people and equipping caregivers to extend their services. Through programs such as Okavango International School, All Nations Village Church, Lorato House of Love and HIV/AIDS prevention and care, Love Botswana Outreach Mission directs the people of Maun toward positive change.
