Qorokwe Camp features nine elegant, modern tented suites. The length of the suite is traced by a private deck overlooking the bush with expansive sliding doors, affording views from the bed and sitting area. Beautifully styled furniture, textiles and decor fill the room. Each suite has an en suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and a free-standing bath tub. The magnificent main area is the focal point of the camp and overlooks a lagoon. The dining area, lounge, library and bar are built on raised wooden platforms, all connected by walkways. The camp feels contemporary while embracing the natural world around it.

Wildlife Viewing & Activities

The exclusive Qorokwe Concession is comprised of 64,692 acres in a high-density game area of the southeastern Okavango Delta, bordering the renowned Moremi Game Reserve. The Qorokwe Concession has permanent water all year round, allowing for outstanding game viewing during every season. Seasonal palm-dotted and wooded islands, tranquil waterways and dry woodland ensure a year-round variety of game and birds, including predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and wild dog, as well as elephant, giraffe, zebra, and many unique antelope species. Activities include both early morning and late afternoon wildlife drives, which can linger beyond sunset. Guided nature walks and excursions by mokoro or boat are also possible.

The Okavango Delta is a year-round wildlife viewing destination, with the peak mammal viewing in the dry winter between June and October and fantastic birding all year. The below chart shows major wildlife sightings. Other typical sightings may include small mammals, such as jackals, foxes, caracal and serval, and a wide variety of birds and reptiles. Exact sightings will depend on weather and wildlife movements and can vary from camp to camp, since many camps are located on islands.
