Our Expert Says
Lion Sands Narina, while located inside Kruger National Park, does not play by strict park rules. The camp has its own private concession directly bordering the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, and you have the flexibility to do nocturnal wildlife drives, seasonal walks and even optional treehouse sleepouts! With just nine suites, Narina is a very serene camp situated right on the banks of the Sabie River—a truly private and stunning setting: epic decks, amazing food, and an all around awesome location.

Wildlife Viewing & Activities
Lion Sands Narina Lodge stays true to a story that began in 1933 with the purchase of land in what is now the Sabi Sand. Lion Sands Narina is situated within the Kruger National Park land, bordering the Sabi Sand and enjoying the same incredible species of wildlife, from elusive leopard to powerful lion, elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, spotted hyena and innumerable other mammals and birds. Being in a private concession, however, you get unique activities and excellent wildlife without the crowds. Traditional morning and afternoon wildlife drives are conducted each day, with a stop to watch the sunset and a continued search into the twilight hours as the cats begin their nightly hunts and aardvark, porcupine and owls come out. Astronomy talks put it all into perspective—you have never seen so many stars as you can here, devoid of light pollution. Guided nature walks, meals out in the bush, and even optional treehouse sleepouts are at your fingertips.
