Galton House is one of Windhoek's newest accommodations, named after Sir Francis Galton, an explorer who mapped much of Namibia for the Royal Geographical Society. The boutique hotel has a fresh and serene style, with a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Artful wildlife photography adorns the walls while complementary decor is understated, minimalist and clean. Galton House is just 10 minutes from central Windhoek but enjoys a quiet setting outside of the city's bustle.

Galton House lies at the edge of Eros, Windhoek's northernmost affluent suburb. Guests are ensured a peaceful stay in the inn's eight en suite rooms, which include twin, double, triple and family accommodations. Amenities include air conditioning, Wi-Fi and high-end bath products. Tea and coffee are provided daily in the main area and can also be provided in guest rooms upon request. A central lounge, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a swimming pool and day room facilities for early arrivals and late departures are available to all guests. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered in the dining facilities, while restaurants and shops can be found very close by.
