Chaminuka Lodge is surrounded by 10,000 acres of pristine Miombo woodland and vast savanna lands—an authentic wildlife paradise. A short, 30-minute drive from the Lusaka airport in Zambia, Chaminuka creates a wonderful safari atmosphere within a spacious and stylish lodge, once the residence of Lusaka’s most affluent citizens. Chaminuka's stunning main lounge sits atop a hill, providing 360-degree views of the crystal-blue, tree-lined Lake Chitoka in the distance.
Our Expert Says
Although the actual rooms are basic, Chaminuka Lodge is a great pick for guests with an extra day or more to spend in Lusaka. There is so much to do onsite, from horseback wildlife viewing on the private reserve to cheese making tours with the staff. Chaminuka also has a notable collection of African art and artifacts, which resonates well with art lovers from around the world.
